Deep Blue Music
As part of an exciting new pan-London fundraising initiative, Two Cities Events has started a new Conservative Party Music Society called Deep Blue Music. It is designed to bring like-minded people together to enjoy the beauty of music and to have a fun social experience for members and supporters, whilst also fundraising for the party across London.
We are inviting Conservatives from across the city (and indeed beyond London) to join us in this exciting new venture. We want to fundraise for the Conservative Party whilst also producing a fun and worthwhile social event. Every local Association that sends a musician for the project will also receive a proportional share of the revenue raised. So it's well worth everyone coming together. By supporting the project, you will be supporting your local Association and its activities.
Deep Blue Music will have two flagship projects for 2023:
- The Messiah Chorus (George Frideric Handel) - we are looking for vocalists for the chorus and instrumentalists for the ensemble. These concerts debut on Sunday 26th November.
- The Snowman Film (Raymond Briggs) with live ensemble soundtrack - we are looking for instrumentalists. These shows debut on Saturday 16th December.
We're looking for people interested in taking part in both, so get in touch! There will be three or four rehearsals, plus a final rehearsal on the day. Rehearsal dates are to be confirmed subject to majority availability.
To get involved as a performer, please fill out a vocalists survey (for the Messiah) or an instrumentalists survey (for the Snowman).
