Westminster City Council’s Cabinet met on 25 October and gave the go-ahead to take detailed proposals for the Oxford Street District (OSD) to a public consultation that will run from 6th November to 16th December.

Churchill Policing Update

Churchill Conservatives joined our colleagues across Westminster in the campaign to save Belgravia Police Station. Sadly, the Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan refused to listen to us and is continuing with the planned closure.

Council enforcement teams: Shisha

Council enforcement around planning, licensing and community protection have been reorganised to deliver a more effective and joined up strategy.

Ebury Bridge for all - An update from Cllr Gassanly

I strongly welcome Westminster Council’s decision to go ahead with building 750 new homes as part of its Ebury Bridge estate development. At least 342 of these will be affordable housing.

Improving care at home when you need it

We want to make sure all our elderly get the best care possible. Westminster City Council set up a new team earlier this year to work both with organisations providing care for people at home, and with residential care homes.
