Turning on our Christmas Lights!

For the first time this year, we are delighted to be able to welcome everyone to an event for the whole local community including children on Wednesday 4th December at 6.00pm.

You are invited to enjoy the Christmas-tree lights being switched on outside St Mary’s Church, Wyndham Place.

Big black bins – magnets for anti-social behaviour? Take them away

In some parts of our Vincent Square neighbourhood, such as the Cathedral Piazza and Carey Place, big black bins have become magnets for antisocial behaviour and drug dealing. Our excellent local police team have been working on these problems too, with arrests.

Christmas Tree Lights – Strutton Ground, Wednesday 4th December at 3.45pm

As your Councillors, we are delighted to be supporting the St James’s ward Christmas tree this year. The tree will be at its usual place in Strutton Ground, close to the junction with Old Pye Street and Vic. 

Once again, we will be joined by the choir of St Matthew’s Primary School.
