About our ward

Knightsbridge & Belgravia Ward hosts a significant number of fundraising events every year, including their Annual Spring Party & Private View at Bonhams Auction House in Knightsbridge.  They also hold a number of smaller private events in the homes of key supporters. They campaign in all national, local and European elections and are fortunate to achieve some of the highest percentages of Conservative Party support in the UK.

Rachael Robathan

Rachael Robathan was a fund manager in the City for almost 20 years, specialising in emerging markets. She has been actively involved in politics for all her adult life and, among other things, was co-Chairman of Contact, a Conservative political lecture group with over 400 members.

Tony Devenish AM

Tony Devenish was elected to Greater London Authority representing West Central - which includes the City of Westminster - in May 2016. He is Chairman of the Planning Committee. 

He is also a Westminster City Councillor representing Knightsbridge & Belgravia ward.

Elizabeth Hitchcock

Elizabeth has lived in London for the past 25 years and in Westminster for the past 11 years. She is the mother of four sons, currently working part-time for a Conservative Cabinet Minister and is a trustee of a Westminster-based youth club.

Council implements leafing clearing plan

You may have noticed that our trees have started to shed their leaves. From 5th November, Westminster City County began implementing its ‘Leafing Plan’.

Armistice Remembrance

The weekend of 9th – 11th November saw Westminster Council commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. As a Council, we work very closely with the Armed Forces supporting a number of initiatives.

Dear resident

Four months ago, the people of Westminster had their say in the hardest fought local election for many years. I am delighted and humbled that they overwhelmingly chose to put their trust once again in the local Conservatives to run their council.

Another year of successful exam results in Westminster

Westminster City Council works closely with our schools to make sure everyone gets the best possible educational opportunities. Yet again our students have gained some of the most outstanding results in the country.
