About the West End

West End Ward covers the iconic areas of Mayfair, Soho and Fitzrovia. In Oxford Street and Regent Street, it includes some of Britain’s busiest shopping areas, and is famous as the home of the country’s Theatreland. The Ward also contains many of London’s top creative industries, from Saville Row, famous for its tailoring, to Cork Street, famous for its contemporary art. It is one of the world’s most vibrant areas with millions of visitors each year.
