Jacqui Wilkinson

Jacqui has lived in Pimlico for over 20 years and was elected as a Councillor for Warwick Ward in 2015. She is currently Deputy Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Education and Skills as well as Westminster's Animal Welfare Champion.  She is the Finance Governor for the Chelsea Community Hospital School and a Trustee of the Abbey Community Centre.

A supporting hand for those sleeping on the streets

Sadly we continue to see an increase in the number of rough sleepers on our streets. Westminster attracts more than the next four boroughs combined. Being the “capital of the capital” has always meant more people bedding down on our streets.

Success on tackling drug dealing

The biggest concern raised by our residents over recent months is the increase in drug dealing, open drug taking and begging. 

Major drugs raid in Pimlico

We are increasingly receiving complaints from our residents about the open drug taking and dealing on our Pimlico streets.

Bessborough Family Hub

Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson, Deputy Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Education and Skills, has visited the new Bessborough Family Hub in Lupus Street, which is providing a wide range of support both for families and children up to the age of 19.

Major works in Glastonbury House

Cllrs Flight and Wilkinson joined residents of Glastonbury House in a meeting with CityWest Homes and United Living to hear about major works being carried out in Glastonbury House to improve safety in case of fire. These include:

ISEU: Integrated Street Engagement Unit

Early in 2018, Westminster City Council launched the Integrated Street Engagement Team (ISEU) to help support our daytime population off the streets off the streets and into accommodation.
