Barbara has lived in Westminster for over 35 years and knows how much difference a strong voice can make. As a Ward Councillor she has worked residents and many organisations on issues associated with air-quality, public protection, public realm and planning. She has taken up the role of Deputy Cabinet Member Children’s Services, Schools Finance. This will be helped by the expertise she gained holding various Healthcare finance roles at director–level for several decades. Coupled with a period of around 10 years when she had served as Governor of two maintained Westminster schools, she is well placed to work constructively with the outstanding OFSTED-rated team in Children’s Services. She looks forward to sitting on the licensing committee and has been pleased to take up opportunities to bring the community together.
