  • Local News

Local people are concerned about Labour's plans to cut buses in central London - including the 16 and 24 in Pimlico.

We caught up with Pimlico Councillor Ed Pitt Ford, to hear more.

I'm here at the bus stop for the number 24 bus in Pimlico.

This bus route has been running to Pimlico since 1912.

And now Sadiq Khan wants to scrap it.

The deadline to stop this from happening is the 12th of July.

To stop it, go to the TFL website and log your disapproval.

Sadiq Khan claims that this is a result of central government budget cuts.

That is not true.

He has had £5 billion. This is a result of repeated fare freezes and mismanagement.

He wants us to stop driving into central London.

He is removing the iconic red buses from our streets.

He is running around New York while our residents can't even get to Tesco
