Eccleston Street Post Office at risk: Save our local Post Office

Save Our Post Office

The Post Office has announced proposals to close their branch in Eccleston Street when the lease on the premises expires this September.

We spoke with local Councillors in Knightsbridge and Belgravia, Tony Devenish, Elizabeth Hitchcock and Rachael Robathan.

We are worried about the impact this will have on people living in our part of Westminster, particularly those who are elderly or have mobility issues.

If it were to close, the nearest branches would be in Lupus Street, Sussex Street or Royal Hospital Chelsea.

We believe the loss of this service in Belgravia will significantly impact local people.

We are working with Cities of London & Westminster's Prospective MP, Tim Barnes, to encourage people to join in the consultation and in calling for a review of this decision.

Please complete our survey and take the time to join in the Post Office's formal consultation too. Together, we can show the strength of public opposition to these changes.
