Antonia Cox

Antonia Cox has lived in Hyde Park ward with her family for nearly 20 years and is Vice Chairman of Governors at Marylebone Boys' School. Those of us who know this area well appreciate its thriving community and church groups, and wonderful Hyde Park on our doorsteps. As a councillor, I am keen to do all I can to help residents tackle the challenges of what is also a busy part of central London.

Leader's Update October 2018

Dear resident

Four months ago, the people of Westminster had their say in the hardest fought local election for many years. I am delighted and humbled that they overwhelmingly chose to put their trust once again in the local Conservatives to run their council.

Another year of successful exam results in Westminster

Westminster City Council works closely with our schools to make sure everyone gets the best possible educational opportunities. Yet again our students have gained some of the most outstanding results in the country.

Council Launches City For All Plan

This morning Council Leader Cllr Nickie Aiken, in a speech to community leaders and local stakeholders, launched Westminster Conservatives' 'City for All'  plan. Conservatives plan to modernise Westminster City Council for the benefit of everyone who lives, works and visits the city.

WCC's policy on parking suspensions

One issue on which we get regular complaints is the operation of parking suspensions. As parking is important for our residents, we decided to check Westminster City Council’s policy on your behalf. 

Going #Green4Lent and beyond

Westminster Council Leader, Nickie Aiken, is attempting to give up single use plastic and is encouraging others to join her. She is using the current 40-day Lent period to support growing calls among the public to do more to reduce the levels of plastic waste.
