Local community groups have asked if we can run a trial removing the big black bins from Ashley Place by the Cathedral Piazza. Conservative Councillors Chalkley, Harvey and Short have direct experience of how they are used to disguise serious antisocial behaviour.

Campaign to review Liquor Licences for The Dorchester Hotel and 45 Park Lane

Local Conservative Councillors for the West End, Timothy Barnes and Jonathan Glanz, are today calling for a review of the Liquor Licences under which The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane operate. This follows legal changes introduced in Brunei by the Sultan of Brunei, the ultimate owner of both hotels

Local policing in Vincent Square

None of us were happy about the spike in rough sleeping and associated antisocial behaviour, soup runs and drug-crime around Christmas, near the Cathedral and beyond.

Rough sleeping and policing

A number of local people have been sending in pictures of beggars along Melcombe Street and Melcombe Place between Marylebone and Baker Street Stations which your Councillors have been passing onto our Council problem solvers and the dedicated Ward Police officers.
