Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London and Westminster, sat down with colleagues from the House of Commons and House of Lords as well as Foreign Office officials from the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative.

With Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine, Nickie was horrified by testimony outlining examples of sexual violence being used as a weapon of war by Russian troops.

During their meeting, the group were able to discuss the forthcoming conference that is being hosted later this year in London.

Nickie is clear. We must bring the world together and ensure those who are guilty of crimes such as sexual violence, no matter where in the world, are brought to justice. Nickie is determined to give survivors of this heinous act the justice they deserve.
