Political Studies Dinner with Lord Moore

This year we celebrate 100 years since the birth of Baroness Thatcher (née Roberts) in October 1925, and 50 years since she became the first female leader of a political party.

At our 2025 Political Studies Dinner, on Wednesday 29 October, we will recognise Margaret Thatcher's extraordinary contribution to UK and global politics.

We are delighted to welcome the renowned journalist and biographer Lord (Charles) Moore to join us as our Guest of Honour. Lord Moore will reflect on the longest-serving British prime minister of the 20th century. An in-depth question-and-answer session will follow Lord Moore's talk.

The event will be held at a private members' club in St James's in central London, with a pre-dinner drinks reception starting at 6:30 pm, and then sitting down to dinner at 7 pm, prompt.
