A group of people sit around a table enjoying a meal together, with plates of food, salads, and drinks like wine and beer in a warmly lit, casual setting

Political Lunch with the Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind

Sir Malcolm Rifkind is one of the great Conservative heavyweights of modern times. A trusted Cabinet minister under both Margaret Thatcher and John Major, he held top roles including Defence Secretary and Foreign Secretary, before later chairing Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee under David Cameron.

Representing Edinburgh Pentlands for over 20 years, he later represented Kensington & Chelsea, and remains a sharp, principled voice on security, foreign affairs, and Europe. Since leaving the Commons, he’s continued shaping debate as an author, visiting professor at King’s College London, and Distinguished Fellow at RUSI.

We are delighted to be welcoming Sir Malcolm to our Political Lunch. He is an engaging speaker and we look forward to hearing what he has to say, whilst enjoying a two-course lunch and a glass of wine in Pimlicom between 12 noon and 2 pm.
