Wednesday 7 March: Supper with Sir Edward Leigh
The officers and committee of Bryanston and Dorset Square ward are delighted to invite you to supper with Sir Edward Leigh on Wednesday 7th March.
He will be speaking on “The Future of the Palace of Westminster”.
Sir Edward is president of the socially-conservative Cornerstone Group and authored its inaugural pamphlet “Faith, Flag and Family”.
An infamous Maastricht Rebel, Sir Edward was the last minister to be appointed by Margaret Thatcher and the first to be sacked by John Major!
Sir Edward came to the attention, and service, of the public through his proactive chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee and he is taking the vocal lead on ensuring value for money and good decision making in the upcoming restoration of the Houses of Parliament.
The evening will comprise a two-course meal including half a bottle of wine in a private room of a local Gastropub Wine Bar five minutes walk from Baker Street tube station.
