Please join us for an evening of virtual discussion with three of the rising stars of the 2019 intake of MPs, when we will hear about what it has been like to represent seats that turned Conservative for the first time in generations (or ever!), working in the first virtual Parliament, dealing with COVID-19, all while delivering on their manifesto commitments.
We are delighted to be joined by:
Dehenna Davison is the MP for Bishop Auckland. She is the first Conservative to represent the constituency since its creation in 1885. Dehenna also sits on the Home Affairs Committee.
Jonathan Gullis is the MP for Stoke-on-Trent North. He previously worked as a secondary school teacher in Birmingham and was the school's union representative (much to the annoyance of all of the other socialist union reps). Jonathan also sits on the Education Committee.
Darren Henry is the MP for Broxtowe, having previously spent 23 years serving as an officer in the Royal Air Force. His maiden speech, delivered on Veterans Day in June, received widespread coverage and Darren spoke of his pride in being the first MP of West Indian heritage.
This event is being organised by the Association’s Tachbrook ward.
Tickets are £10 per person
Details about how to access this virtual event will be shared with attendees on the day.
